As my blog with entitle ‘Certification was hampered’ I was delayed on certification, all my days was to handle problems of existing system and to fulfill user requirements either on Axapta and IT management. Since the intensity of problem become rarely and the user requirement was fulfilled I have more time to learn and to understand about DAX 2009 also another knowledge event thought not much but enough to do that. I have captured my desktop in 3 computers (1 server, 1 desktop, 1 laptop) and all belongs to my control.
Picture below is my daily job in axapta which is I used to monitor user message and Develop customization.
When I have a free time or sometimes I used to arrange for a while to read a whitepaper about DAX 2009 and try to practice on my virtual PC/Virtual Box/VmWare between my busy times.
If I’m bored to read whitepaper I go to my Firefox and browsing some web that interested me or some links that I found from my email.
Sometimes I used to run my virtual Server to run my installed DAX 2009 and another time I run my virtual file (VPC) of DAX 2009 or DAX 2012 or CRM 2011 to find/compare the different between my own installation and standard installation from VPC also to find some configurations that I missed.
Another activity that I do when I feel bored from learning DAX 2009 is to learn .Net Technology (VB.NET, C#, ASP.NET)
Watching/follow webcast, streaming video and video files that explain about ERP or Axapta or computer technology is my new hobby, I like to watch the explanation from video files because I feel like in class room and with video file we can learn in multimedia environment
In the middle of my busy time sometimes I read a whitepaper beside DAX 2009 like about Project Management, IT Management, Business process management, CISA, APICS and other IT Management or IT Technology knowledge
Every day the first I do is reading my email from GMAIL and YAHOO also my formal/official email. Reading IT news, answering some question on the forum DAX, registering for webcast, replying the official email and arranging an appointment for meeting.
